You will need your own copy of the show to watch along! 😁

So glad I watched this film! Turned out to be one of the best movies I've ever seen.

Hope you enjoy my reaction, as much as I enjoyed the movie 😁

This is what is called a 'bottle' or a 'deserted island' movie, in which the characters a stuck in a single location. Yes, if there is enough doubt about the prosecution's case, a 'not guilty' verdict is likely, even if the person did it. They will be released and cannot be retried for that crime.

I acquired a copy of the movie for this reaction. I always intended to watch this but never got around to it until now. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It’s wonderful seeing new movies with you. I think researching the movies would give too much away. I love the fact you start movies knowing nothing about them. At the beginning of the film, the cameras are all positioned above eye level and mounted with wide-angle lenses to give the appearance of greater distance between the subjects. As the film progresses the cameras slip down to eye level. By the end of the film, nearly all of it is shot below eye level, in close-up and with telephoto lenses to increase the encroaching sense of claustrophobia. The Longest Day (1962) is a great black and white movie. Like many old movies, there is a colourized version now but if a movie was originally filmed in black and white then that is how I prefer to see it. I thought the picture quality was great before but it does look even better now, and I like the blue background.

Sorry Lee I don't know how I missed this comment! Ooooh I didn't realise that with the camera angles. It'll be interesting to watch again and I definitely intend to! I'll pop The Longest Day on the list 😁 I'm much happier with the set up now and won't have to worry about going out of focus which is a boost! Thank you again for watching along and your comment 🥰
