"Don't Torture a Duckling" (1972) is not only excellent moral guidance, but also the title of a totally bonkers Italian film that has been a big influence on Tarantino. I'm sure you would love it!

Yojimbo (1961, Japanese) a Samurai movie directed by Akira Kurosawa, starring Toshiro Mifune. And then later, you can watch the exact same story, remade three years later into a Western: A Fistful of Dollars (1964) directed by Sergio Leone and starring Clint Eastwood.
