I knew you’d love it!!

This film was written by Quinten Tarantino but directed by Tony Scott. Remember film is a director’s medium. And you see that crystalized beautifully here. Tarantino never would have made this film that you just saw Dawn. Tony Scott made literally thousands of creative choices that Tarantino never would have made. Down to the casting of particular actors, the visual style, the wardrobe, the iconic music score, and every other aspect that goes into making a film. Even though Tarantino wrote this film, the tone and vibe is nothing like anything Tarantino has ever done. The sister film to this is a film called “Natural Born Killers” (1994) An early draft of this script for True Romance had Clarence wring the script that would become the film “Natural Born Killers” This element was removed from this script for the sake of length and instead was developed as an actual script all its own. Tarantino sold that script and it was rewritten by multiple screenwriters and the director of that film himself, Olivet Stone. “Natural Born Killers” is in every sense of the word, an Oliver Stone film. To the point that Tarantino was unhappy with it for the longest time. That is until the day he met Johnny Cash and Cash told how Tarantino how much he loved “Natural Born Killers” Then Tarantino decided he liked the film after all. Please do check this film out as well Dawn. “Natural Born Killers” (1994) The directors cut. The directors cut is the way to go with this one.

Thank you, Dawn! Brilliant!

Christopher Walken, the Sicilian, plays the same kind of scary badass in Suicide Kings, which I liked even though it wasn't well reviewed.

"Uncut" means it's pure coke. Usually it gets blended with something cheap and easy to get like laundry soap or boric acid or meat tenderizor so they can stretch out the quantity and make more money.

That’s funny that you recognized the directing style in the sex scene. You thought of Top Gun. Well this is from the director of Top Gun, Tony Scott, brother of Ridley Scott. The music of this film is iconic. It gives the story a fairy tale like quality with these two kids falling down this rabbit hole of a violent criminal underworld and the colors and wardrobe in the film make it all kind of wondrous. You want to see more epic Gary Oldman roles “Bram Stoker’s Dracula” (1992) And Christian Slater is great in the western sequel to Young Guns. He’s in Young Guns 2, so of course watch part 1 first. If you want to see Christian Slater in a western. Christian Slater also has a small but significant role in “Interview With the Vampire” And you really should see some movies with Charles Bronson in the lead. A western Bronson stars in from the director of The Dollars Trilogy “Once Upon a Time in the West” (1969) and “Death Wish” (1974)

You’re the first reactor I’ve watched that understood Dennis Hopper was trying to get an expedited death. Well done.
