FYI Dawn The town of Deadwood was a real historical place. And the characters Wild Bill Hickok and Calamity Jane (who spoke to Bill so fondly) are both real historical figures. Calamity Jane was a real lady gunslinger who could handle herself in the wild west.

Darrell Palmer

Growing up, Wild Bill Hickok and Calamity Jane were both familiar names to me, but many of the other main characters are also real people who all came together in Deadwood in 1876. Many of these people were so well associated with Deadwood that they were eventually buried there. Their graves are prominently marked and you can go there and pay yoiur respects.

I love Dawn and all the quirky jibber-jabber... but she's got to pay better attention, she's missing way too much.
