I know I said I was taking some time out until the end of the month but today was a slow start so I thought I’d check in.

For those of you who know, I don’t live in a place that gets snow. I’ve seen it a handful of times in my life and I’ve been giddy at the thought of seeing it again.

It happened. I saw it. I felt it. I inhaled the scent of this ethereal smattering from the heavens.

Then I face planted into it and all mystery was lost 😁

Just kidding… (not really, it was hard, compacted snow and I have a bruised knee but I’m fiiiiiine)

The holiday home that I’m staying in has a photography book. There are framed photos of theirs throughout the house and I am besotted with each one of them.

As I trudge through the snow that I know a lot of my Beautiful Fae are more than familiar with…my survival instincts kick in. Find warmth. But at the same time, I want to feel the cold

Perhaps because I know that it is passing.

Over the past two days I’ve seen a wonderland of white against a familiar Australian bush land. This is foreign to me. Yet, I can’t help but wonder at my southern fae…snow nymphs and snow pixies and all the like that fill my mind…what if I just looked behind that snow laden gum tree?

It is true, I am indeed a winter baby. I love this…from within the warmth of a holiday home where I can cradle a cup of tea, in a single layer of clothing and for an extended period, literally let my hair down (because it’s not so goddamn hot!)

Beautiful Fae, wherever you are, keep looking for our kind 🧚‍♀️

Glad to hear that you are having a good time. Don’t worry, tripping is all part of the process. Just look out for ditches 😉

It’s so wonderful to hear you’re having a fun time (please stay safe! No dying outside the server either!/jk XD). If you get the chance, try snow angels!!!
