hey, how are you? 🌸 i could make nice progress with the current pages and have finished inking scene 53! after a short break i'll start with coloring, and i can't wait to show you the finished pages! many background panels wait to be drawn in this scene as well <3

the panels above are sketch to ink progress shots 🌻 i like to see them side by side and spot the subtle differences. I feel like I improved my inking and line skills a lot this year, and the thing that helps me the most is that I try to sketch as well as possible so I don't have to do a lot of guess work while inking anymore. and of course i could say goodbye to perfectionism.

completely unrelated, but also very important to me: kan is nominated in the webtoon canvas awards !! if you like #muted, too, please consider voting for my babe and my adoptive sons. i'm so happy i can actually BE with kan when they finish the series, and we're going to celebrate the ending of the series together!! it's such a weird but nice sensation, i remember exactly how they showed me the first drafts of Kai and Jasper and told me about the idea, and I remember how we searched for names for them, and now it's already the end. it's bittersweet but also really wonderful to see kan finishing this project, and i'm really proud of them for sticking with the series until the end!
