Escapades Issue 5 - Page 6 - Sketch (Patreon)

Okay, back in the saddle! Had to concentrate on catching up with fanart stuff, but now I can balance pinups/Escapades again, hopefully.

I was struggling for a long time over how to make this page interesting, as the original script pretty much just had them sat on the bed as they talked... but that would have been sooooo boring! So hopefully seeing Aer do her morning stretch routine spices up this page a little. It's certainly got Wossy hot under the collar!

As for the conversation itself, I'd had the nagging thought in my head that, in a real-life scenario, "quitting your job to let your partner be a. your landlord at home, b. your boss at work, and c. your dominant in the bedroom" would be a really bad idea. That's the kind of stuff that really unsafe and dysfunctional relationships are made of. So, in the same way that I've previously gone out of my way to show that the pair use safewords and make clear that Aer *wants* all the sexual torment she receives, I decided it'd be important to show that W&A's new work/life arrangement is free of coercion - to the point that it's kind of backfiring on them because their unwillingness to boss each other about is what's led the both of them to spend the week playing kinky games instead of actually being productive. :p

Aer's only a couple of pages away from getting a HEFTY gäg (complete with a full, multi-panel application sequence!), and this issue, once it's on, it's not coming off. So she gets to have a lot of dialogue right now to even things out. ;)
