Escapades Issue 4 - Pg12 Redux (Patreon)

Just a little update on how things are going on this end of things. In the sketched version of the page, I'd been clinging to the idea of Aer being stuck to the wall via what were essentially strips of 'fly paper' (all the more fitting for them to be thrown by a spider-themed assailant!), but it just wasn't working for me. So, I decided to fall back onto the simpler "big splat of goop" that was so well received for Gogo back in the day! 

How the positioning of
Wall -> Aer -> Web net -> Drider
ended up like this:
Wall -> Web net -> Aer -> Drider
I don't really know. We'll chalk it up to magic. Unprofessional and bad visual storytelling, yes, but I guess this is a page where it's better to focus on getting the best 'pin up' visual possible, rather than worrying about how it all came together sequentually... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

For what it's worth, I'm really, really happy with the struggling Aer on the left there. She's arched like a figurehead on a ship! <3
