[Updated Nov 15th 2019: It looks like there are a few skin & hair colour presets when you start the game, and with the pic due to go up publicly today I thought it'd be fun to quickly whip out the 'official' variants!]

Name pending until we know it! :p [Edit: Seems to be 'Gloria'?]

The playable region for the upcoming mainline Pokemon game is based on the United Kingdom (it looks like they just flipped the map upside down! https://imgur.com/gallery/6Dh1SBP ), and the player is expected to begin their journey at the bottom of the map, which in topsy-turvy UK is the equivalent of Scotland. Sooo, it didn't take long for the internet to go wild on memes.

Ms Grunt, who as we've come to learn is apparently an avid Team Fortress 2 player, couldn't resist the allure of a new hat... but maybe she bit off more than she could chew!? Thankfully, she always carries plenty of binding materials. And hey, whadda ya'know, all that time spent training her captives has helped her develop an understanding of gagspeak! It's just like the theme song goes: "you teach me and I'll teach you"! ;)

As a Scot, I both approve of this and have to facepalm that the internet went with the glasweigan stereotype for her.

I’m glad you explain these, because I had no idea what this one was about...

She's a real cutie, but a total foulmouth. At least, I think she is??

knowing a scot or two, this seems pretty accurate... right down to the muffling making them more comprehensible, although usually it's food in my experience.

How about "Gagle Translate" as a title? The wordplay is obvious but it kinda makes sense. Really love how the captive is the angry threatening character in this drawing, compared to previous drawings with Ms Grunt taking Pokemon girls prisoner; it's a nice twist on the usual D.I.D. formula . This becomes even better if you imagine your other Pokemon D.I.D. pics as taking place in the order they were released, with this one being Ms Grunt's latest catch in her attempt to "catch 'em all." Everything else, from the appropriately hectic-looking type for some of the Trainer's dialogue, to the small picture of the Galar region on the book (excellent detail!) to of course the X-shaped tape gag, is both awesome and hilarious. Another job extremely well done! Good call using Scottish terms and slang, it reminds me of the famous bridge scene in Samurai Jack. Also, is it just me or does the trainer seem somewhat like Aeria (brown hair, not always a fan of being tied up, etc)?

Oops, the May Standard was linking to April High! Fixed now. Thanks!

Thank you!

Ah, Miss Grunt! Easily one of my favorite Pokemon related characters ever!
