Macau Vs. Hong Kong: Top 5 Differences (Patreon)

A lot of you have been asking us to please cover Macau. And a lot of others have been asking, "What's Macau?"

China has "One Country, Two Systems" where Hong Kong is the second system. But Macau is also under another governance system, which is sort of like Hong Kong, and sort of not. But definitely not like mainland China. So really, it should be "One Country, Three Systems."

But anyway, while we were on our Pivot to Asia Tour, we took the high-speed ferry from HK to Macau to observe this oft-forgotten third system (and also to eat Portuguese egg tarts.)

We have another Macau video coming this Wednesday as well, where we interview a democracy activist.

Did you know there's another non-communist region of China? Yes, I'm talking about Macau....for the first time. Everyone forgets about Macau (also spelled Macao), but it's actually really interesting-and not quite like its neighbor Hong Kong.

Vietnam is another interesting Communist ruled country where I think it should be covered in China Uncensor for its south china sea dispute with China and its political tie with China.
