Stray: A Game About Freedom | Deep Thoughts While Gaming

The new video game "Stray" and the free feline exploration of the gameplay, peels back the deep existential ennui of a technologically advanced, but spiritually bankrupt cyberpunk world where humanity has been replaced with robots. On this episode of Deep Thoughts While Gaming, Chris Chappell delves into the philosophical works of Martin Heidegger and Soren Kierkegaard as the game developers of Stray must have intended in their social commentary. #stray #straygame

I have bought the game myself as well. What strikes me the most is this robot population is very Chinese like in so many forms. A great game none the less but it kept reminding me of a society under totalitarian government(?) if I may describe it this way. It feels like the French team that made the game were trying to warn us of what might happen to us in the future.
