#129 China is Destroying the Amazon in Bolivia

Chinese money has not brought good things to Bolivia. Whether it's the illegal wildfires around the Amazon that have destroyed hundreds of thousands of acres, the dams that are projected to displace indigenous people and destroy the environment, or illegal gold mining, Chinese deals have not been good for the South American Country. Joining us in this episode is Jhanisse Vaca Daza, the co-founder of Standing Rivers, a non-violent citizen movement focused on human and environmental rights in Bolivia. Just want to express that this is a really great video. What the CCP is doing in the Asia Pacific is very important but can seem distant. It is distant. Covering what they are doing here in the Americas really literally brings it home. Maybe reminding people that the CCP is doing this, right now in the US. Not by way of the boogeypeople of the culture wars like myself...but by way of the STOCK MARKET and buying our companies. Keep up the good work.

Great episode! I will be honest i forget about all the great people in South America. My coworker is from Brazil, so he shares a lot of information about what he sees there and what his friends and family tell him. I dont pay much attention to the MSM, but i dont think i ever hear news from South America. Like Kamala Harris being told to go home from protesters after visiting Guatemala. Thats the last i heard. Maybe its because every time central or south America gets brought up, the open boarder policy comes up. Millions of ILLEGAL migrants, some sick with covid, let into the USA free to infect more people.

Excellent comment. This may be among our last chances to document such atrocities as normalized behavior for authoritarian Communist countries and share them with the world.
