Disappointed to see that "Minecraft bombs dropping on commies" comment selected as the one to highlight. It sometimes feels like this channel forgets the difference between the Chinese people and the Chinese Communist Party. Ambiguous slang that can be interpreted as all Chinese people being commies (as non-government citizens of a communist country) doesn't reflect well for the channel. Appreciate the quality coverage, but definitely would not be interested in seeing China Uncensored staff pandering to "larger Minecraft audiences". You have better growth options available. P.S. Thumbs up almost all your videos & feel guilty realizing the only time I'm posting on your Patreon is to provide constructive feedback for this episode. Hope it doesn't come across the wrong way as I'm a big fan & big supporter. Genuinely wasn't thrilled about the Minecraft comment and thought sometimes constructive feedback from your supporters can help you get stronger so wanted to pass it along. EDIT - PS#2: As someone who watches every episode, I know the team cares about the Chinese people and doesn't actually mix up the average Chinese citizen with leaders in the CCP, my feedback here wasn't intended an accusation that happens. My intention was to convey the channel can unintentionally come across like it forgets the difference. We can't assume all casual China Uncensored viewers will recognize the importance of that distinction, especially as the channel continues to grow and reach new viewers every day. As someone who genuinely wants to see your work continue to grow and succeed, I'd just suggest that your best strategy is probably coming across as a champion for the Chinese people while helping to hold their government accountable (in addition to being a champion for truth and accountability in general, which you already do successfully). Episodes like this one with its Minecraft bombs comment seem unlikely to be perceived as championing for the Chinese people by the Chinese people. Hope that helps clarify the feedback.
