Notice About Reaching Our Goals (Patreon)

Thank you so much for your continued support! You may have noticed that we seemed really close to reaching "$500" on Patreon, but now it's suddenly down to about $400 per video.

What happened? Did the CCP hack us and for some reason steal only 18% of our money? Did the CIA withdraw their support? (Wait—shouldn't they have been giving us more?)

No, none of those things happened.

Last week, Patreon updated how they display the totals. In the past, it showed the total pledges...but we never actually received that amount. The new number is more accurate; it shows what China Uncensored actually gets at the end of the month. It factors in bank fees, transaction fees from PayPal and the credit card company, and the surprisingly large number of declined credit card transactions.

We are still less than $90/video away from reaching our first milestone goal. And we really hope to hire an extra person to help create more episodes for you in 2016.
