China Censors James Bond 'Skyfall' | NTD China Uncensored
James Bond maybe licensed to kill, but that won't help the new 007 movie, Skyfall, escape censorship in China. Skyfall just opened in China, two months late because authorities didn't want it to compete against other Chinese movies. But now that it's out, audiences in China are realizing it's not the same James Bond they've been pirating for the past few months. Turns out a few scenes were just too politically and morally sensitive for China's censors and they ended up on the cutting room floor. But that's just the beginning. Hollywood has been bending over backwards to appease Chinese authorities and get deep into the pockets of the world's fastest growing movie market.
