American Superconductor made software that regulates electricity from wind turbines and their biggest client was Chinese company Sinovel, the world's second largest wind turbine company. But Sinovel paid American Superconductor employee Dejan Karabasevic to steal company secrets. Then Sinovel dropped American Supercondutor, its stocks plummeted and 60% of it's workers were laid off.
