Question for the show. Your Taiwan coverage has been very interesting but from the outside Taiwanese politics can be confusing. How has the KMT, formerly the authoritarian anti-communist party become the main pro-CCP party? What are the different divisions and interest groups voting for each party? The protestors and DPP voters obviously skew towards the young and educated but what demographic and interest groups support unification and the KMT?
