Hello Patreon members!

We wanted to let you know about a special project—before we tell the rest of our viewers on the YouTube channel.

TL/DR: We're creating a virtual Lennon Wall to allow folks from around the world to safely and easily show their support for the people of Hong Kong in a way that gets big media attention.

MORE INFO:

2024 is the 5th anniversary of the 2019 protests that changed Hong Kong forever. Yes, it's hard to believe five years have passed since then, but Covid does weird things to our sense of time.

The way the CCP has sought to destroy HK is in some ways worse than what they did after the 1989 Tiananmen protests. Instead of sending in tanks and getting negative media attention, the CCP's destruction of HK has been quiet, slow, deliberate, and sinister—all under the guise of "enforcing the law."

There are already 1,841 political prisoners in HK, but you probably had no idea is was that many, because the media doesn't cover it anymore.

We want to change that. We want to raise awareness of what's still happening in HK.

To that end, we're consulting with Hong Kongers living abroad to build a virtual Lennon Wall. It's a bit like the kind we saw in downtown Hong Kong near LegCo. In 2019, protesters and supporters wrote little notes on Post-Its and stuck them to the walls. Then people in other cities replicated it.

In 2024, we will be creating a digital version. People from anywhere in the world can fill out a digital Post-It note, and stick it on the wall. Then we will overlay those notes across the skyline of Hong Kong.

We have several technical challenges to doing this well. (1) We need to have tight security, to avoid getting hacked. (2) We need to anonymize users info, including IP addresses. (3) We need to prevent spam and misuse. (4) We need it to look good.

To that end, we've hired a developer that specializes in security. It's not cheap, but they're giving us a fair price and they like what we're trying to do. This is one way in which we're spending the money you contribute to China Uncensored: on a project that will raise more awareness and educate people on what the CCP is doing to Hong Kong.

HOW YOU CAN HELP:

If you'd like to get involved, let us know. We're looking for moderators to flag posts that are malicious or spam. We're also going to need help spreading the word once we launch. If you have other ideas, please email us at chinauncensored@gmail.com or leave a comment below.

I've seen your video on America Uncovered "What the News ISN’T Saying About Mass Shootings", I think you forgot to include that kids playing, watching, and/or doing 18+ things increases more crime and that parents must be taught by university, church, and doctors. I know the fun fact that the U.S. is the only country in the world to have more guns than people, I know that the Chinese people have always considered the biggest threat by the CCP after zero-COVID massive nationwide protests caused by disastrous zero-COVID policy, no idea what the true death toll of COVID was in China, they're not allowed to own guns, and I know that Xi Jinping isn't exactly the most trusting of individuals (Evil, dishonest, repugnant, brazen, insecure, ugly and probably smells weird, but not stupid and not that gullible). How can guns become another popular sport like basketball and make it a protected right in the Philippines? IMO, Filipinos have high U.S. favorability, and there needs **freedom intensifies** gun freedom for Filipinos to have the right to keep and bear arms, ensuring that the Chinese military invasion of the Philippines is impossible and then the Philippine government should focus more on its Navy and Air Force, after that, inspire Taiwan, South Korea, Vietnam, Israel, and other countries to give people freedom the right to keep and bear arms and become another popular sport like Switzerland and MURICA, then make it a protected right. Without knowing that, it would be challenging to give gun freedom just like adding Autobahn to the Philippines, no speed limit on highways. Also, are Iranian people allowed to own guns?
