Weekly Update - 6/28/23 (Patreon)

I'm nearing completion on QT2:10.5 and will have that up before I go to bed tonight, but I thought I'd swing by and give everyone an update on how things are looking for everything. I'm banging out commissions this week, so I've got a couple left, which means expect new chapters in some of those over the next week or so (Fertile Grove, QT: Aisling's Antics). I'm also going to skip July 4th as an official release date for anything standard, and will, instead, use it to get either caught up on commissions or ahead of the curve, so the current plan is that I'm aiming for the next A Pack Of His Own for then. It's a holiday, so I really should be relaxing, but meh, I feel like I've been on a bit of a creative tear lately, so we'll see if I can continue that energy moving forward over the rest of the week. The plan is also to get Breakpoint done before the end of Friday. We'll see how it goes.

Summer is starting to come in full force, and the shifting weather is causing all sorts of chaos, because I know the full heat wave is on approach, and it's getting close to buckling down. We'll see how well I manage this year.

If you are a music person at all and you have Disney+, I highly recommend taking the time to watch "The Muppets: Mayhem," a 10-episode rockumentary behind Dr. Teeth & The Electric Mayhem. Sure, at some points it lays on the schmaltz pretty hard, but overall it's full of enough fun musical in-jokes that the more invested you are in the history of modern music, the funnier it gets. Well worth the time.

Also, if you're into spy dramas, I dug the first episode of "Secret Invasion" and the second one is waiting for me as soon as I finish QT2:10.5, so believe you me when I tell you I'm eager to get there. It's good old-fashioned twisty spy shit, and I can't get enough of that. 

I've got to sneak out and get caught up on some movies over the next week, but I'm definitely not waiting for Indiana Jones and I genuinely hope it doesn't suck. I'm probably going to see The Flash, which I expect to mostly suck. I'm going to see Mission: Impossible, which I know isn't going to suck. 

In terms of stuff to the public sites, here's what's coming: 7/1 - Brass In Pocket, 7/8 - Seven Secrets of Mr. Magpie 5, 7/15 - CARP 3, 7/22 - A Pack Of His Own 2, 7/29 - QT 2:3.
