Weekly Update - 3/15/23 (Patreon)

It was fun dropping the most recent chapter of The Devil's Details without a whole lot of warning, especially knowing what I did about what's in it. (That cameo was so much fun to write.) I'm working to bring 7 Secrets of Mr. Magpie to a close now. I'd hoped to have that out yesterday, but it's looking it'll probably be tomorrow 3/16 instead. It's the last chapter of that story, so I want to be sure I'm landing it okay, and it's a complicated landing, because it needs to unify what you've read so far. And it needs a nicely spicey sex scene to wrap it all up. But I'll get there.

I'm thinking I'll have the next chapter of Breakpoint out sometime on Saturday, 3/18, and I've got a chapter of A Pack Of His Own to drop at some point within the next week or so. What I'm trying to do in terms of commissioned work (maybe I told you this already? I don't remember) is that I post a chapter of it to the Patreon when I send the NEXT chapter off to the commissioner. Might drop Pack off a few days early, though, so you're swimming in content for a bit.

On Monday I went and dropped off all the autographed copies of Quaranteam: B1 that have been purchased so far, and they're making their way across the country to you now. The Post Office looked at me as though I was a madman. It was glorious. I'd love to see pictures of them in people's hands either via email or on the Discord, if you feel comfortable sharing them. It means a lot to me that you people wanted signed copies of my stuff and hopefully they get to you all safely. You can still order one if you want. I've got a few more lying around the house, and I can always order a second batch if there's demand.

I'm thinking about putting together a print/for sale epub version of If I'm Honest at some point as well. I kind of have an idea for a cover, so I'll see about getting a picture taken that I can send to my artist buddy as a reference for him to draw a cover for me. I'm in no rush for that, but thought I'd mention that it's on the corkboard of "things to do eventually." If/when I do, I'll probably include a completely new story in it as well.

The poll looks like the 21st is going to be CARP so I'll probably also start up the second poll tomorrow and see what'll be on 3/31 for the second You Decide of the month. 

For those who aren't subscribers, the rules of my writing haven't changed - most of the writing I do here will eventually show up for free, just about six months after it appears here. Someone made the stupid assertion that I'd "abandoned" Literotica and MCS, which is utter utter nonsense. Quaranteam: Book 2 will start showing up on those sites beginning in May. Don't call it a comeback - I been here for years! 

Anyway, here's what's coming to public sites over the next month or so: 3/18 - Before The Storm 3, 3/25 - Si Verax Sum 1, 4/1 - QT: Phil's Tale 12, Before The Storm 4, 4/8 - The Writing's On The Wall, 4/15 - C.A.R.P. 1.

Also, in news that should surprise nobody, I've been digging the new season of The Mandalorian, and I was grinning my damn face off at the first episode of Season 3 of Ted Lasso last night. (Also also, if you have Apple+ TV and you aren't watching Shrinking, I insanely recommend it. Harrison Ford is goddamn hysterical.)
