Weekly Update - 12/21/22 (Patreon)

I'm still working on Before The Storm 5 but travel has been massively complicated by two things: the winter storm decimating the Midwest, and the fact that my laptop's battery no longer seems to hold a charge for shit (some of this may also be attributed to cold weather). The laptop's an easy enough fix - I've ordered a new one which I'll have in a week or two, but the storm is gonna do what storms are gonna do. BTS5 will happen sometime over the winter break, though, that much is guaranteed.

Progress on doing the edits for QTB1 have been going incredibly well and I very much want to thank the editors who've been helping me with that. Having other people review copy becomes critical, especially when you're talking the volume of word in QTB1. 

And here's a thing I don't mind crowdsourcing as well - I'm probably going to do a print/epub-for-sale version of If I'm Honest, but I'm not entirely sure what the hell should go on a cover for it. Any thoughts? No bad ideas, just feel free to spitball here or on the Discord. I thought about just a picture of Harvey (i.e. the bracelet) but it feels like it won't grab attention well unless you can maybe read some of the Latin, and even then, I don't know if that's a best foot forward for it. The idea for the QT cover came to me in a flash, but I haven't had any such flashes for IIH yet.

I don't know if the public sites are going to be doing posting this week, so I'm not sending anything to EMCSA or LE this week, and we'll worry about what to send them next week.

Anyway, that's all from me. For those of you who celebrate Christmas, have a good and a safe one. For those of you who don't, enjoy the quiet time of the internet and/or celebrating other holidays during the end of the year break.
