So, as a reminder, I'm off this week for Thanksgiving, although I might drop something small off over the next few days. I apologize for Friday's posting (CARP 2) going up on Sunday. The thing was done on Friday, but the AirBnB we were staying at absolutely would not let my laptop connect, so I posted it as soon as we'd arrived at our next destination on Sunday, where the hotel had excellent WiFi. It was a little annoying, because I was ahead of the curve on that one, and still nothing! Bah. Sometimes things get annoying. That also meant I was past the deadlines to get anything to the public sites for last week, so I'll be sending a double to them this week.

That said, one of the people I'm hanging out with during the Thanksgiving vacation is the artist for the cover of QTB1 and I have seen it most of the way done, and it looks fucking amazing, so I think everyone will be ecstatic when I can finally reveal it. He's actually working on it about twenty feet away from me as I'm typing this update right now.

I've been taking a few hours each day during the vacation to work and get caught up on some things, some commissions that still need doing, trying to chip away at edits and rewrites for QTB1 and putting some of the initial words down for QT2:1, which I imagine will kick off with a ton of people going "Holy shit, I did not see this coming." Which is exactly how I intend it to be. I think folks are gonna love it. The goal is to try and get ahead of the curve, but that may not be entirely possible until January, but we'll see. I've made good progress writing during the vacation, so I'm trying to remain optimistic.

Anyway, I'm still on vacation, so I don't want to spend too much time working, as recharging the battery is always a good idea, and sometimes you just need to let yourself have a bit of dreamer time that isn't on a schedule.

Public release schedules currently looks like this: 11/26 - QTPP 4 & QT48, 12/3 - QTPP 5, 12/10 - IIH 12, 12/17 - QT49. (It's worth noting here that the public release of QT50 isn't scheduled until the end of February, so if you're a free reader who's eagerly waiting the conclusion of the first book, you might consider signing up for a month, just to read the Book One finale sooner than then. It's available to patrons now!)
