There was a LOT of worldbuilding that needed to be done in Quarantam: Phil's Tale 8 that just went live, so I had to go back and forth a bunch from my notes, getting some of the key details into it that I wanted to make sure I had right. Those of you who have been asking about what the rest of the world looks like, you're getting to hear a bit more about it being discussed at least.

I'm still planning on doing Brewster's Brood 18 for Friday. It's also looking like 6/21 will be the debut of the first chapter of my sci-fi/space opera piece, which I'm comfortable enough to tell you is titled Before The Storm. I've done some writing in that already, and for those of you who like world building, I am doing a ton of that in this story. Also, I will make sure the opening chapter has a nice spicey sex scene in it as well. It's going to be a big longer piece as well, because typically when I'm starting something new, I tend to have a lot to put into it. Well see what that looks like when we get to next week.

I'm planning on trying to do some commission work over the weekend, so we can get caught up on things, and be a little ahead of schedule. Quaranteam: Piper's Prelude 3 is already written and scheduled for posting on 6/24, so I want to have 4 off to the commissioner before that time. This month has the most commissions I've ever had, so I'm going to be buckling down and writing a bunch of them during the window that allows me.

We will also come back to the mainline Quaranteam for 6/28, which I've been thinking about for a while, even while I'm working on other projects. Takeoffs and landings, folks. Takeoffs and landings.

Here's the next month or so of what's coming to the public sites: 6/18 - Quarantream 41, 6/25 - Morgana's Gift 10, 7/2 - Quaranteam: Piper's Prelude 1, 7/9 - Quaranteam: Phil's Story 6, 7/16 - The Seven Secrets of Mr. Magpie 1. Lots of new starts hitting the public sites in July!

Also, I mentioned this before, but I'll repeat it every week, so people know it's coming. There will be no update on 7/5, in observance of US Independence Day. I'll be writing during that period, trying to get ahead on commissions, because again, August will be a MESS. We'll make it work, though.

As for music, here's an old favorite, written about the AIDS crisis back in the early 90s, but is pretty much just completely relevant now...
