Hey Corrupted. I know the latest Brewster's Brood chapter came a bit later than expected, but yesterday's news about the school shooting shook me a bit, mostly because I have nieces and nephews who are of school age now, and I'm tired of "hopes and prayers" being all the solutions anyone has to offer to this endless parade of shootings. Fuck that, it's not enough. We need actual action.

Friday/Saturday will be part 3 of If I'm Honest Chapter 10, and we'll see if I can get the chapter wrapped up with that, or if I need to go to a part 4. I've got some commissions I'm working on as well, and right now the heat in the Bay Area is fucking brutal (the high was 97 here, and a lot of places, mine included, don't have air conditioning) so I'm doing what I can to keep pumping out content.

Next Tuesday, 5/31, will bring Quaranteam 44, and it will answer the cliffhanger people have been on for a few weeks... and will likely end on another cliffhanger. ;) In fact, from here to 50, expect a lot of "I need the next chapter now!" as the stakes continue to get raised.

We'll be back to Brewster's Brood for 6/3, and QT 45 won't be too far in the future, on my current schedule for 6/10. The content drop of 6/7 will be our first of the two voted upon released for the month by the tier 4 and up subscribers. That poll will probably go up tomorrow. (The second voted one will be 6/21.)

Based on my estimations, Quaranteam Book One will come to a close in September, and there will probably be a month, maybe two, without mainline QT content, while I get the first book fully proofread, tweaked and edited, then release it as a for-sale epub/print on demand over on Amazon. Of course, all my patrons will have access to the epub for free, so if you don't want to buy it twice, you don't have to, but it will give me a solid release marker for all the work of that project.

I'll know more about what those months are going to look like when we get closer to them, but it's worth keeping everyone abreast of what the big picture roadmap looks like. During that time, I'll be focusing on other storylines for the channel, as well as maybe trying one or two new things. And then I'll be back with the start of Quaranteam Book Two a month or two later, although it may just be one chapter a month for a while, as I settle into the groove of what that story's going to be. There really isn't any time gap between the end of book one and the start of book two, but I want to give myself some time to outline a few things, make a few notes and to listen to everyone talk on the Discord. :)

The comments about me delving into Space Opera were fun reading, and it helps me understand what everyone likes and doesn't like out of my works. Based on that, if and when I delve into space opera, I will do my own universe building, the thing it seems like everyone thinks is my strong suit, and that's fine by me. I've been thinking about what I want to do when we get there, and right now, my world will be somewhere between Farscape and Firefly, definitely with aliens and other cultures, but also with a focus on some of the subjects people know I love to weave into my works, like class struggle, economic warfare and historical expectations. We'll see when that gets voted on. It will, I assure you, definitely have a different tone than my other works, in that I want to have a stable small cast of characters, and to delve into the relationships a bit more on the long scale. It won't be a giant ship with hundreds of people - the main cast will somewhere between 2-5 characters. And I have a hook in mind for the core concept. It'll be fun. When we get there. No rush!

Here for the public release schedule, so you know when things are coming to other sites? I got you, fam. The public release schedule for the next month or so looks like this:  5/28 - Quaranteam 40, 6/4 - Threadbinders 3, 6/11 - If I'm Honest 9, 6/18 - Quarantream 41, 6/25 - Morgana's Gift 10.

Lots of exciting things on the horizon. Thanks to all of you for sticking around and supporting the work. I'm going to leave you with a band I loved and never got to see live. You've probably heard of them. They're called INXS.

Love INXS… saw them live once while being a concession stand runner at the arena they played in. A friend and I were in charge of setup maintenance and tear down of a few standalone draft beer booths. we got to hang out in the rafters to see the show while waiting for refill calls on our walkie talkies. Fantastic concert.
