So., just a head's up - I'm basically positive at this point that Quaranteam 34 isn't going to make 12/24 and maybe won't even make 12/25 but should be done by 12/26 or 12/27 or so at the latest. Travel proved to be more complicated than expected, and I simply didn't have the chance to whip out the laptop and get any serious writing done, mostly because I wasn't stationary anywhere for more than ten minutes at a time. (In addition, one of my flights had the worst turbulence I've had in 40+ years of flying, so... oof.)

This sort of has a knock-on domino effect for everything else, but we'll see what happens early next week as I'm done with travel by EOD Sunday. Once I'm static and home again, I should be able to hunker down and put nose to the keyboard again for longer than say fifteen minutes at a stretch.  But as a result, Tuesday's planned post of Brewster's Brood 6 may slip to Wednesday as well. It's also possible the first chapter of The Threadbinders will slip to 1/1-1/2 as part of all of this, but I'll know a lot more about that when I'm back home and have a better view of the land.

The poll for 1/7 has me knocking out Quaranteam 35 that week, and by that point, I anticipate being back to full regularity. I appreciate everyone being understanding for the holidays. I probably should have just taken the week off, but I'm still a new hand at this and didn't want to disappoint anyone. Plus, hindsight is 20/20.

Anyway, that's where I'm at. My internal clock has thrown the hour and the minute hand off and they now look like a crazy straw, but things'll shake out in the end. By January, we will have reachieved normality, and anything that doesn't make sense then will be your own problem, in the words of Trillian.

Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah, Happy Holidays and Seasons Greetings.

I’ve been a weekly content creator for 8 years now. I learned long ago to take off 2 weeks around the holidays. In fact for years I tried to work ahead in December to create an extra week’s worth of “Holiday Specials” to release during the first week so the audience would only have one week of missed content. But that turned out to be insane to work MORE during the busy times leading up to the end of the year. So this year for the first time in 8 years I just decided to take two weeks off instead with no “Holiday Special” and it’s been a wonderful decision. Of course whatever works best for you is the right decision. Everyone’s situation is different. And to be selfish I enjoy your content and would like to keep getting it regularly. But you gotta do what works best for you IMO.
