So I'm hoping to keep this a relatively light update, but I want to stress that with the holidays and me doing some traveling during those holidays, all release dates for this month are pretty floaty. That means if I slip a few days, well, so be it. That's December for you. I'm going to do my best to hold to my schedule, but I also need to keep in mind that being in motion this year isn't going to be like any previous holiday I've spent in motion, with heavily added layers of scrutiny. Once we get back into January, I'll be more confident in my ability to predict things. I appreciate folks being cool with me slipping from Friday to Saturday last week, and that sort of thing may happen more for the rest of the month. Traveling puts me at the whim of both nature and the gods of chaos, and they always seem to have mischief on their minds.

Work on If I'm Honest 7 is well underway, with a few thousand words already under the belt, and every confidence that will be out either Friday or Saturday. I'm going to try and get Quaranteam: Phil's Tale 2 for 12/21 but it might be very late that day, as I'll be in the air for most of that day. I'm going to try and get writing done while I'm airborne (since I'll be trapped in a little metal tube daring gravity to kill us all) so when I get where I'm going, before I head to bed I'll hopefully have something to upload, unless the weekend is insanely generous to my creativity and it's done before I go to the airport. I'll save Brewster's Brood 6 for 12/28.

I'm still expecting to upload Quaranteam 34 on 12/24, but expect this to be a shorter chapter. I suspect to be back around for Quaranteam 35 on 1/7, but that's entirely up to the Tier 3 & 4 supporters. A poll for that will go up immediately after this post with voting options. Remember to vote this time! Some of you who have the ability to vote didn't do so.

Speaking of voting, at the end of the day, the poll on what I'm writing for 12/31 came up as a tie between two options, a new chapter of Morgana's Gift and a new story of the high fantasy variety, and as as previously stated, when it's a tie, your humble author gets to choose between the two options. Because of that, I've decided to do the new start, simply because the idea of having even more options in the pool delights me, and I've wanted to try my hand at erotic fantasy for a while now, simply because a lot of what I've read felt so sparse on the worldbuilding, which I'd like to think is my strong point. I don't want to reveal too much about the story in advance, other than the title, which is called The Threadbinders, and will feature two major protagonists, one female and one male. I'm looking forward to writing that, and new starts generally come easy.

Fairly light update this week, I know, but well, the holidays do maddening things to us all. The music I want to leave you with this week is from a band called Fischer-Z, who did well in Europe and made zero impact here in the states.

Take care of yourselves and your loved ones during the dark holiday nights, and remember, we're almost at the shortest day of the year, and pretty soon, we'll start eeking back a little bit of daylight each day.
