So, first thing's first - I got my Covid booster shot on Sunday, and it has beaten the living shit out of me for the last few days. (Better that than Covid, though.) More than anything, I've just felt extremely lethargic and sore, but it's starting to show signs of passing, which is progress. That does mean, however, I'm a little behind on things right now, and there may be a day or two slippage for the next couple of weeks while I try and get things back on track. I've slept 10+ hours every night for the last three nights, and still I feel exhausted...

I have a late commission from last month that I'm in the process of trying to finish up today (but might bleed into tomorrow), and after that will start in on Quaranteam 33, which will drop sometime between 12/3-12/5. I'd like to say I can get it done by Friday night, and that's what I'm aiming for, but I try and keep my expectations realistic, and there is every chance that it might slip as late as Sunday. That said, when I sit down to start writing into QT, it tends to flow out very quickly, so maybe I'll get lucky.

Right now the schedule says 12/10 is Brewster's Brood 5, with BB6 scheduled for 12/28. I feel like I'm in a good place with BB right now, and I anticipate the writing for that should flow pretty easily, especially since we're going to get to see Ironwood Estates soon and a lot of that is waiting to spring forth from the brain. I will also be posting BB1 publicly on 12/10, so that everyone can get a taste of the T2+ subscriber story and see if it's worth convincing you to upgrade from tier 1 to tier 2.

Speaking of Patreon business, there were a rather large number of bank declines this month, so check and make sure that you have everything set up correctly, otherwise they'll close off your access and I'd hate to see you go. Maybe that's normal for the first day of the month, and it just gets corrected out later. Dunno. We're all still pretty new at this.

Hopefully everyone liked the minor art additions. A friend of mine commented that the page looked a bit too dry and offered to do some artwork for me to liven it up a little. Just a few flourishes to make things feel a bit more lived in.

After some thought, I settled in on putting If I'm Honest 7 on the calendar for 12/17. I had a couple ideas about what Deke might be getting up to next, and that's usually a sign that something's close to ready, but it's still a few weeks out, so maybe I'll do some outlining, see if that helps any.

And as a Christmas treat for everyone, I've got Quaranteam 34 on the calendar for 12/24, but I don't have a high level of confidence on that delivery right now. If I get lucky while travelling and have some time to get settled in airports in between flights, I may be able to hammer that out and have it ready to post, but let's not overpromise on anything right now, so if it slips, it slips. There's also an off chance that I might just post it on 12/23 because I got it done earlier, so who knows what'll happen.

Next week, I'll throw up the poll for tier 3 and 4 subscribers to vote on what I'm writing for 12/31, with Quaranteam not being one of the options, since it was what was voted on for the first poll of the month. I'll also have IIH and BB off that list, so we'll see what you people decide you want to see from me to round out the year. That poll will run between 12/10-12/17 and, again, is only for tier 3 and 4 subscribers. You decide; I deliver.

Finally, as per the announcement last week, I'm going to leave you each week with a bit of music from somewhere around the world, some gem that I've enjoyed listening to over the years. This week's band is Boom Boom Satellites, an electronica band from Japan that I did have the privilege of seeing live once. They aren't putting out any more music, since one of the band's two founders died in 2016, but there are loads of amazing albums you can still go check out and listen to. Hope you get well soon. My wife and Son got it for their work and they felt like crap for almost a week afterwards.

I just lost a 37 year old friend and his wife to COVID so I’m a fan of anything that can prevent serious illness. I can deal with chapters being a little late as long as we can keep them coming long term (I.e. your booster shot could help to keep you with us longer). Your friend did great for the art. I sure could use a friend like yours on my show.
