Within the next 24 hours or so, the next chapter of Brewster's Brood will drop, and it will be around 5k words, plus the descriptions of the Golf Group, which is partly why it's taking so long. I realize it's been a while since we visited in with Max, but I also had to figure out the next several steps of keeping Max in the dark. It's a lot harder than it looks, keeping this guy from getting too suspicious while still trying to get what they want from him. It's a juggling act, but I think I'm doing okay at buying myself some more runway. We're not even at day 10 yet! I may have to start glossing over sections of time to make everything fit, but it's so much fun depicting the overwhelming amount of attention he's getting.

It also took a bit longer than anticipated for the most recent chapter of C.A.R.P. because I needed to check across my internal continuity as we're getting closer to the endgame, and the second major bombshell of the story gets dropped. (No spoilers on comments here! These updates are for everyone to read, including people who won't see that chapter for six months!) We're approaching Josh's final year at the university and the final chapter will probably have a ton of threads to tie together or intentionally leave loose.

The weather's gotten a lot nicer in NorCal, and so I'm starting to go out walking again, which I've found generally helps my mood some, getting me out of the chair I probably spend far too much of my time in. We had a swell that was almost summery, though, and of course, we're still wrapping our heads around the lost hour from a few weeks ago. Blah. Anyway, spring's here and summer's going to be on top of me before I know it.

Hope everything's going well with you folks. I notice a handful of people bought the physical version of Quaranteam Book One off Amazon, so thank you for that! I was at one point entertaining the idea of a print/Kindle version of all of If I'm Honest. Would people be interested in that, and should I contact my artist friend to start putting together a cover? It would be a lot less thick of a book, obviously.

Here's what's coming to public sites over the next month or so (Note, EMCSA is off this week, so they'll get both things on the 30th): 3/24 - QT:AA4, Neon Stonehenge 1, 3/30 - Morgana's Gift 17, 4/6 - A Pack Of His Own 6, 4/13 - QT2:14, 4/20 - QT2:15, 4/27 - Before The Storm 9, QT:PT 15.

Also, in Dev's pop opinions, the new Crow trailer looks utterly terrible, the new Mad Max Furiosa trailer looks incredible and I want to find whatever Hollywood executive decided to greenlight a sequel to Twister and shake them until they drop several more million dollars for me, since apparently they'll give money out to anyone for anything. Seriously? TWISTER? We found the bottom of the barrel, broke through it and just kept on digging, huh? That said, I started watching "The Completely Made Up Adventures of Dick Turpin" on Apple+, and if you like goofy British comedies, or are still lamenting the cancellation of "Our Flag Means Death," this may help scratch the itch.

And if you want music, the early singles from the upcoming new Ride album "Interplay" seem like the band's still in prime form. Who'd have thought a band could get back together after like 20 years apart and put together stuff to rival what they did in their hayday? I'm all for it. I saw them live with the Charlatans again a few months ago, and both bands still got the goods...

Thanks for the news on chapters. I liked the original twister but we don't need a remake it still holds up well. They really need to start being more critical of scripts they green light because there are very few movies that have come out in the last 15 years that I would see in a movie theater and most I wouldn't watch outside a movie theater. They do sequals to old movies that aren't thought out and end up being mediocre at best. I think they need to start looking at more and different writers work not just the same guys over and over again. I have wanted to go to the movies for a long time but there haven't been any that are worth the price of a ticket.

Big fan of the Quaranteam universe. There must be 10 story arcs underway. Surprising that weeks can go by with no new submissions from any of the authors. Not giving up on them though.
