Hello, dear friends!

Next month(s!), I'm finally going to work on the sewing room I wanted to make since the release of the Knitting stuff pack, and it might end up in a more general crafting room, as some of you suggested.
I've also already written down suggestions from the Advent calendar that could fit the theme.

Do you have any suggestions, anything you'd like to see? I can't promise much on functional stuff as these demand more time, but then, maybe I'll make a "functional update" later this year.

Maybe different kinds of cloths and a functional sewing machine? 🥺🥺 Please? And the ability to make dresses or different outfits with the sewing machine.

I love crafts, maybe you could include things like craft clutter, new Nitfy Knitting style craft tables and a sewing machine (Maybe it works like the knitting bag) And plastic organizers with drawers 😄

Definitely would love fabric bolts or rolls of yarn as clutter. Anything embroidery/cross stitch is so cool. Oooh maybe like a spinning wheel with raw wool?? Thank you for your time <3

Functional sewing machine and coloring books

Quilting maybe? Have it turn out bedding (blankets to lay over existing beds) and/or wall hangings.

Yay! My new build includes a sewing room! I'd love to see knitting needles and crochet hooks, especially if they could be attached to some in-progress knitting. A knitting basket better than the one the game provides would be great too. A selection of yarn, doilies, clothes patterns to put up on the wall. Spools of different coloured threads would be great as I haven't found these anywhere! Finished or half finished items such as clothes. Embroidery and cross stitch as someone else suggested. Some bespoke craft/sewing desks and furniture for storing all the items. Furniture to display finished products. Ribbons and buttons and the kind of small things that might be needed to adorn items. Some small soft animals made out of wool. Tapestries for walls? Books on knitting, crochet or crafts. A rustic feel to all the above as it suits the theme. Wooden furniture for room and woven baskets and items made from natural fibres. A good lot of clutter! Fabrics would be nice too and a sewing machine, although I'm not quite sure how anyone could make that functional! Maybe a vibrate sound or image when it's in use if that's at all possible?? I definitely second 'craft clutter'. Ruler and measuring tapes would be useful as well as some kind of organiser for these items. Thimbles for sewing? Pin-cushions? So many ideas come to mind and of course I don't expect you to create them all, but I hope there are a few things here that might inspire you! Less maxi-match and more alpha would be amazing, too! :-)

Woooohooo, that would be a really nice tie in for your La Friperie you did in the past. Or maybe later an updated version of the Bridal Boutique. So dress forms might be cool. Or jars filled with pearls and stones (which can be used not only for sewing, but also for crafting). Fabric rolls a la Mood from Project Runway. ;)

A lot actually: -Sewing box (maybe two models: a small one and a extended one) -Singer-like manual sewing machine (like the one from The Sims 2: Freetime) -Electric sewing machine -Organizer box/drawers for small parts like this: https://images.homedepot-static.com/productImages/492b8eef-c414-45da-9443-1d104813835a/svn/blue-stalwart-small-parts-organizers-75-3021-64_1000.jpg -Glue gun (another model than Parenthood) -Some stuff from your TS2 sewing room also :)

Masculine style knitted sweaters maybe like halfway done? In progress projects like scarves or whatever in general to use as clutter would be awesome! Different sized knitting needles since they get way too big just sized up

Some of the other rocking chairs from the proposed concept art would be awesome. https://sims.fandom.com/wiki/The_Sims_4:_Nifty_Knitting_Stuff?file=Rocking_chair_voting_choices.jpg#Concept_Art 5 & 8/10 would be amazing. (I know some other artists have done some of the others)

Also, Alex & slab desks like https://i.pinimg.com/564x/cd/fb/da/cdfbdadbd259fd5366ad43e6ee340816.jpg and maybe even include some decal options for the drawer fronts like they sell here https://www.mywonderfulwalls.com/products/rainbow-stripe-pattern-decal-set-for-ikea-alex-drawer-unit paint pots, maybe trios of different sizes with nice clean shallow but tiling shelves in similar colors so you can do organized paint walls like https://i0.wp.com/www.smartfundiy.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/Ikea-Craft-Paint-Storage.jpg folded fabric, vertical and horizontal in clusters of 5 or 10 fabric swatches to make fabric stashes https://www.blueistyleblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/HowtoOrganizeYourFabricStash.jpg Thread storage https://www.blueistyleblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/RainbowThreadOrganizer.jpg

I was thinking recently that the main thing missing from my craft/arty rooms are some decent looking "half-finished" WIP projects that I can get straight from the Buy catalogue, to make the room feel more lifelike and lived-in. Like maybe a selection of half-finished paintings, pottery, scrapbooks, sculptures, knitting or sewing projects, comic book illustrations and storyboards, painted models and figurines, etc. Something you can put on a work space to give the appearance that your Sim in working on a specific product. And maybe - if you were feeling very ambitious and generous with your time - there could be an unfinished and finished version of each project. Obviously the vanilla gameplay shows our projects in different "states" as our Sims progress towards finishing them but often they're not very impressive looking or detailed. And it's a bit fiddly to stop Sims from autonomously messing with them!

Mannequins with projects in different states of completion would be amazing, my mother was a profession seamstress and growing up there were always multiple projects in her bed/sewing room and our living/showroom(I spent a lot of time playing outside:). Also a some décor like a in cushions or tape measures
