I had planned an update for last Friday but an object still needed some adjustments. Sadly, for the whole past week, my computer didn't let me using any Sims game without crashing to reboot. I had hoped I could eventually make it working this week-end as it was much colder but nope, so I'm not able to upload in time the update I wanted, and I'm so very sorry for this!

It's not really surprising to see my computer dying as it's 11 years old (it got a new system and a new graphic card in its life, but well... still quite an ancester). I had planned to get a new one for my birthday (in November), but I was wrong: it won't make it till there.

Troubles began few weeks ago by crashing to bluescreen with reboot each time I was in my Sims 3 (heavy) game, then it crashed to shut down & reboot with my Sims 3 vanilla game as well, and now, for a week, it does that with Sims 4 too. I made sure there was no dust in the case, put an extra fan... No success.

I can still mesh, so far, as it doesn't crash (yet?) with 3DS Max but I can't test my objects in game, neither make previews. So I'm meshing for the Advent calendar, as I'm sure I'll have still plenty of time to test these objects before their release!

The good news is that, thanks to you, dear Patreons, I'll be able to get a new computer before my birthday. I've ordered it last monday, so a week ago. There's 2 weeks of delay for the assembly/delivery, though a note says it can be longer due to Covid-19. For now, I don't have a precise day for delivery (it should be home next week?). I had hoped you wouldn't even noticed I had troubles with computer, but well, it didn't work that way! :/

Of course, it messes up seriously my plans for October!  But here's what you can expect for sure, maybe with Sims 4 studio or Workshop previews:

- a kind of "toddler food furniture" add-ons with "grown up" objects: activity table, table tray...
- coffee & water vending machines
- medicine clutter

There will be very probably more but I can't guarantee 100%, it will depend 1) if I manage to open my games with the old computer 2) when I get the new computer, 3) time I'll need to reinstall everything, games & applications.

It makes me feel super guilty, but be sure I'll do my very best to spoil you!

I'm impressed you made a desktop computer last 11 years! Take your time, we all understand things happen. (It sounds like your power supply was going bad, from the symptoms.)

It's impressive to have played with a super heavy Sims 3 town on that computer for 11 years! I got it with World Adventures release, I think, as my previous PC couldn't handle a single EP. :) The poor thing is overheating, has lazy hard drives, even has a contact trouble with the power button, so it's very possible that, at the top of that, the power supply is dying and causes the crashes! :/ Well, it's been a loyal PC! :)

I'm impressed it lasted and was able to play Sims for so long! I'm glad you'll be able to get a new one soon and a couple weeks is hardly going to upset us when you've consistently given us quality content (I even have your TS1 cc; my favorite is the iMac).

Best of luck! I got my new laptop not long ago & it took forever to re-load all my S3 content - hope it goes quickly for you!
