Having to start a new save file (Patreon)

I am going through and working on coding the video game scene and I can't seem to make things function the way I want without introducing a new variable. The catch with this is that Ren'py won't recognize any current saves, so everyone would have to start the game from the beginning. 

What I'm trying to do with this activity is similar with some of the others. It will have one "intro" scene, then it will have repeat scenes that vary, kind of like the bar activity.

If I don't introduce a new variable it will basically just be the repeated scenes with no intro scene. 

I am making this poll to try and figure out how people feel about starting their playthrough over again.

I'll leave this poll up until Monday 01/24/2022. In the meantime I'll keep writing scenes and coding the other new stuff!
