Just skipped to the very end of Ep 13 to see your overarching reaction and it’s pretty much what I expected it to be. The characters do become more likeable over time but I completely get your stance. Presume we won’t be expecting S2 any time soon then? 😄

O.k so I don’t think it was sympathy to the rapist nor to say he shouldn’t have been punished, I think it’s the whole blood on your hands, not wanted to be tainted by him, if Owen had done it, it would be through negative emotion and as someone who suffers from anger management issues once you let one negative emotion rule you the rest come, guilt ( even though you’ve done nothing wrong) , is what Gwen has, she didn’t chose to kill him, he selfishly made her his murderer, in some ways the bastard did the same thing he did to the other girl, he took away genes consent that’s how I interpret it anyway. Oh and yeah your right, he got what he deserved

Up to Episode 3. My perspective is that there's no sympathy for the rapist but for Gwen. Playing a part in the death of another person, even if unintentional. This isn't something people should brush off. Even if they absolutely deserved it. It's the difference between reactions on a television show and those that people have in reality. Zero remorse could be construed as the sign of sociopath. This show has a litany faults which boarder on the absurd in regards to story, characters and sequences. This is however is one of the more grounded moments, I feel. That ridiculously lame gun training montage however.....

Up to Episode 7. I concur, Tosh is the only likeable/ relatable character to this point. I have a burning question that I will ask at the end, if it's hasn't been implicitly answered at the end of DWS3E13.

I feel Series 1 of Torchwood was very rushed so it could meet the deadline of the Doctor Who crossover, the first series was the weakest of Torchwood, a very experimental show, Gwen is a force of nature that enjoys manipulation, cheating and lieing to everyone in their faces and always acts like she is the victim in all those situations, I feel sorry for Reece.
