Yup, David Renwick can write! His credit list is as long as your arm, most notably this and One Foot in the Grave. He also wrote the legendary Two Ronnies Mastermind sketch 'Answering the previous question'.

On a side note, if you liked the character of Katrina Toplis, the actress who played her did appear as a teenager in a lovely heartwarming BBC film in the 80s called Threads. I recommend you watch it. WIll give you a lovely warming glow *cackles evilly*
