Yeah the drum banging thing is real, it's really annoying and unless you have ear plugs you just live with it. From Derry to Glasgow. They woke me up every weekend morning. Arseholes.

This show gets compared to Father Ted quite a lot, but ep 6 here covers coming out, being different and terrorism in a way Ted never could (or tried to). The Troubles do crop up a few times in the course of future episodes, and it's a really powerful backdrop

It's nothing like Father Ted. The only things in common is they are Irish characters and religion is mentioned. Taffe. Your reaction to the ending was great. It floored me when I watched it.
