Patreon devlog update 99: inside acheron (Patreon)

alright so, these couple days i felt well enough to finish these pieces i started last saturday. So here's acheron's lobby, with its doors leading to the various areas. It is of course a casino, but it also has an arcade and...a convention center. I wonder what could be happening there?

as you can see from the statues i choose the  third design for mal. It's not the sexiest, but i felt it was the one that resembled andy the most, and that had the correct vibe for the place.

oh and i of course animated acheron ascending from the bottom of hell.

aside from the bg i also drew a couple concepts for the denizens of this place, starting from a familiar face, moshennik , the shaman of the gilded robe that you meet in chapter 2. He seems to have been made it big in acheron as he's full of sins and owns so many he can leverage even demons into his servitude. Zap and Andy will have to deal with him if they want to finally leave hell. 

in the hotel part there is a smoking lounge where some bored demons are enjoying their stay. So i drew a couple of them based on a couple fella from ars goetia, as always.

last but not least , a couple bunny demons will go around serving the various guests of acheron. They're not particularly important for anything in the level but i felt like a bit of eyecandy  won't hurt.
