well, here we go again, while it was fun at the start, i'm feeling spreaded thin again by having to make three full illustrations in two days. There's also the fact that i really need to focus my efforts on the games i'm making . Fenris high badly needs more art assets, as well as the mistery project , not to mention zap and andy 's demo is almost complete and i'll need to work on it soon enough. I'm sorry to cut it short like this, with requests still pending, but i'm feeling a bit burnt out and i'd rather offer you something with quality rather than art done while i'm not at my  100%

maybe we can find something lighter to replace it ? what would you like to see? let me know in the comments!

Hope you feel better stopping it is fine✌🏿

Robert Smith

It was great for you to continue it as long as you did, and completely understandable! I really enjoyed the R34 tournament, would something like that be possible again? Maybe with your OCs perhaps, or a new range of characters? Alternatively, perhaps taking some characters and applying some kinks to them? Doing a kind of 'transform a Tuesday', perhaps :) Regardless, hope you feel better

Stop it if you need to hun, we all know this was only going to last until your games picked up again. We're all in full support of you and your work.

Evilmarmelade

Yo, take all the time you need for all the other projects, you're already incredibly productive.

Evilmarmelade

If you're still looking for another project, what about the fantasy bestiary project? It was really good, but I don't know how much time it was taking you.

Hinner

I still wanna see my previous idea of an experiment chamber of sorts It could be one TF sequence per week (similar to that bodybuilder tf you did on sketchy tuesdays a while ago), it also could be in a very simple style, like the one you used in MonsterSmash. At least until you have less on your plate, idk

CherryDad

Honestly just some simple fanart, pick out some stuff you're into and make some polls

Rodney Talon

Tempting as is for a replacement. we're not getting younger. Just one project a week plus updates as see fit, I suppose. If three pictures is pushing you another tournament or entry or request series is just asking for you to suffer more. If feel must fill with something maybe retrospective on previous characters or work? or maybe just writing? Very simple "what struck me" entries whether media or stories or memories

Anonymous

Maybe instead of full blown illustrations, maybe just lineart or something less complex?

Xeralex

I can only imagine, with all the work you have done and been doing too ^^;.... Not mention the current comic that you has turned out a little bigger than what you initially wanted too (been there ^.^;....). And seriously, that is no problem man. If you really need take a break even too. My suggestion, to keep Tuesday's updates up, share your work on the art you do on the games. That way you share art and you get more work done for them too XD.

WorgenRouge

Maybe draw something for yourself every Tuesday? Even if it’s just a doodle or whatnot. I know we all love your characters so it would be great to see whatever you feel like doing! Or something I’ve seen other patreons do is to open up another, more expensive tier where a few subscribers each month can get art from you. And you reset the tier at the end of the month so it’s always new people each time. So say you limit it to 3, that means you only have to draw 3 pictures over the month. You could also impose limits like “X characters per image” or whatever else. Another option would be to open for Patron only commission slots. Again limit how many at a time you take so that yer not overworking yourself. And definitely do it as a form system so you get to pick which ones to draw (first come first served would be way too chaotic imo)

Haxsmacks

Well again it's called sketchy Tuesday so what's stopping you from making it sketches?

Zhu

Just do what you like! I think keeping it light and easy is what made it loose and fun to begin with. Game dev is so demanding, doing a comic on top of that is nuts. You can still open for suggestions but you don’t need to do it weekly. Maybe either monthly or do a few personal ideas for yourself and make it fun! The goal is to spend minimal time while keeping fans in mind yeah?

Hon3ybazzer

I really enjoy all of the sketch commissions you've done over the years, you put so much depth and detail in each image that is especially fun to view in a comic viewer. I'm fine if you just drop the entire day if you need to pace yourself. Thank you

Flux

Take as many breaks as you need. Maybe do some art for yourself? If you want to include everyone you could write down 4 several options or picture ideas and let us vote.

Devante

Honestly i would recommend just do wips you really like to put your all in to those sketches and I have other patreon who charge me more for less work you got enough of fanbase that If you do something super simple we will still like relax and just do something you know is quick and fun for you

Honestly 3 pieces is a lot. I’m very happy with the comic & game updates you post, but if you *had* to replace it 1 piece of your own choosing or sketches would be enough. In fact I’d prefer you draw your own stuff l generally like what you come up with more than commission pieces; it’s your mind I subscribed for so whatever you do, I’ll be happy as long as you’re into it.

Shiny Skunk

tbh you already post so much, i don't think you need to replace it! and i'd be happy to support you even if you posted like once a month. don't sweat it, dude, do what you can!

PK Persona

You legit put out so much quality content already that I'd be happy with you just not replacing it. Have some more down time for yourself and a bit of breathing space for your literal 3 games and weekly comic. :p If you feel the need to put out more content tho, I'd recommend Zachs idea on sketches above. I'm here to support and see what you like to do, more so than commission work from others. Do your best and know that we got your back!

Understandable you work really hard so it would be fine if you didn't replace it so you could work on other things.

Newt

It's alright, we knew it'd just be a treat for a while. Hope fenris high comes along well!

Newt

As a replacement, why don't you just do 1 piece of whatever you feel like every other week?

WorgenRouge

Another option could be to draw the sketches black and white, and in the same style as monster smash? That could ensure that they’re JUST sketches.

Honestly, I’m impressed that you did Sketchy Tuesdays and your comic and Fenris High AND your other game demo all at once. To the point I thought it was probably too much. You’re a scary artist, not only for your skill but also for how fast you use that skill to make great art. You should probably take a pause, and not replace Sketchy Tuesdays with another project. Give yourself some elbow room to breath and focus on other projects. However, if you are wanting to replace it so you have something to do in between the game stuff then I’d love to see your personal work again, it’s what got me interested in becoming a Patreon in the first place (but maybe keep it simple, like line art, so it doesn’t become super taxing again.)

FaeCourt

Take the break/scale back as you need, as your health and mental state are more important!

Anonymous

Replace it with nothing, you’ve got a lot on your plate already bud! 😁

Anonymous

You definatly come first and if I had to suggest anything I'm sure a classic poll system would be fun, having four choices every other week and once one is gone simply replace it while keeping the other three. Best of health and wishes towards ya man!

Crowbar

I feel biased in replying because I already got an truely amazing request from you. But I feel like you work super hard and it is very justified if you decide to just ease up and focus on your main projects.

Taikowolf

While I would have loved to see one of my ideas be drawn by your skilled hands, I'm also greatly enjoying seeing your works and progress in both Fenris High and A Dragon, Burning. This, alongside your oncoming projects and your need for downtime, shows you've got a great set of priorities and I am happy to watch them get your time and energy. The Sketchy Tuesdays were awesome to see, and you established how strong a range you have with your art and how fast you can output some great images, but I don't feel cheated if they stopped. You've got an amazing output even without it. Best of luck going forwards, do what you feel is best to avoid burnout, and shine on you crazy diamond.

Anonymous

That's really unfortunate, but if it means you can put higher quality into other work I want, I'm all for it.

Yoked Coder

I wasnt able to respond to this immediately but I for sure thought you would stop doing sketchy Tuesdays when you figured out you couldnt make the ideas random or just the ones you most liked. It devolved into kinda a sorry for my wording a "free request first come first served" and while it liked a lot of them it didn't give you enough creative space as an artist. Also the workload was of course too much. If anything I think you should make Tuesdays bonus images, maybe from any outlet your currently working on, it doesnt have to be cannon or just silly out take comics, or even personal work

Yoked Coder

it doesn't even have to be fully illustrations, maybe sketches you don't normally post or a silly idea you came up with but decided it couldn't make the final take. I'd personally love to see you draw your sona again or any kind of personal work

Anonymous

I'd say do it but like.. lighter. Like do it less often and just do it a few drawings.

Edgar

I'd suggest only taking suggestions one day each month and working them into the schedule for the rest of the month. Same workload as one week's worth of Sketchy Tuesdays, but spread over a whole month.

alpha reaperion

I don’t think anyone would mind if you switched it to a monthly thing with the same workload (especially for art with your quality because, as we all know, good art takes time), but if you feel like doing something like sketchy Tuesdays takes too much effort, I don’t think it’d be unreasonable to stop it for a little so you can get your steam back
