"I figured it was about time for me to do something a bit more ambitious with my daemons. Here is part on of a series of my daemons invading other universes and seducing/corrupting those they find.

This shows Gwen Tennyson getting some "hands on" lessons from Tolarix. She seems flustered. She's also 19 in this picture. Maybe 20.

Gwen perused the shelves of the book store, looking for the source of the energy. The static tickle had become a burning itch inside her forehead, telling her she was drawing near. She'd expected her senses to bring her to some musty old antique shop, not a clean and modern corporate store. The tension in her head had long ago begun to hurt, driving her back to the cafe for bottled water, but she now felt something stronger was needed to deal with the pain of claws scraping the inside of her skull.

She had no idea why she specifically ordered a black coffee, nor why she had taken a cinnamon packet and two scoops of marmalade, but she did. Mixing the acquisitions together, she closed her eyes and breathed in the smell she was sure this mixture shouldn't produce.

A whisper tickled at her ear.

"You can hear me."

She froze, straining to hear more.

"Mmhmm." She said as subtly as she could.

"Do not react." The voice instructed. "Look into your coffee."

She did as the voice said. In the reflection, she saw a bird watching back. It had mixed eyes, one green, the other red. She stared, containing herself, but internally screaming and dancing for joy.

"The book you seek is hidden in the children's section. It's the middle of the day. The section is empty." He said. "You should be able to sense it better once you enter...."
