Your Opinion about the recent art change? (Patreon)

We hope you've been enjoying the latest update of Amity Park, with the recent bugfix edition put out a little bit ago. Hopefully, you are all doing well in your day-to-day lives, and getting to enjoy the coming weekend.

Anyway, in the last few weeks, we've received some complaints about the recent art change seen in the Redux update. We believe the main focus has been upon the new stylings of character design in the lewd scenes themselves, primarily in the facial regions. Many have cited this change as being too “Anime-esque” and too far removed from the original source material.

To be honest, this outcry arrived rather surprisingly for most of us on staff since we had  announced those planned changes a few months ago. However, from what it appears, many of the fans of the game were not totally aware of the extent of the altered art that members of the Team Bieno staff were not fully satisfied with. That was our intention with the changes, to improve and make the art in our game more dynamic and visually interesting, as well as being more likely to build tension for the player. We aren’t looking to change things around at square one yet again, as I’m sure many of you are more interested in simply progressing and adding new content to the game.

Therefore, we would like to get a better idea of the opinions present within our supporters and see how much of those concerns and complaints reflect the general opinion of the fandom, as opposed to a simple vocal minority.

I would like you to know that one of our latest artists, Psymind, who was providing us these new lewd shots/character designs, has been also receiving and taking in feedback from you guys that we found genuinely insightful. He is a person who wants to listen to beneficial critiques and sees areas where he can improve the art stylings he has already been working on.
