I’ve found the best way to pronounce Japanese is to sound it out like Spanish. They actually have very similar sounds. When I would watch subs, my mom would swear that she heard Spanish. It’s just a good tip. I see more animals that I love! The funny thing is a lot of these creatures are very small and not dangerous. For example, the vampire squid. They apparently can live on land. I’m thinking that is how they reproduce. When the child comes of age, they say their name and boom newly minted merrow! Now, other than that, I would think that giving birth in the ocean would be just like a dolphin or whale would. Evolution worked that one out a long time ago. Yeah, these are short chapters with lots of action. One thing I think I’ve talked about before is that the heart of the Sea God is very much like the Heart “God” that Griffith encountered. The end result was that Griffith bought into the Gods will and Guts killed his “God”. I like to occasionally look at fan art. Recently I’ve seen some fan art with Guts praying with Jesus. Well, whatever makes you feel better dude! Under that, the comments were mixed. Some really liked it. Some say that he would never do that. The question of is Guts religious and does he believe in a God was asked. It’s an interesting question, but one that doesn’t apply to our world because in the world of Berserk, gods do exist! Now you can argue that since there are gods, do people pray to them and do they worship them like we do. Yes! Guts doesn’t do that though. He knows they exist, hell his best friend got turned into an “angel “. Does he worship them? No. He wants to kill them. Basically, in this chapter, he killed a god. It’s not a question of being a believer or not. They exist and he is rebelling against his fate and their influence in his world. I wouldn’t call that religious. So, that fan art with Guts praying with Jesus? 🤷‍♀️ it brings them comfort I guess but I think they missed the point the story.
