I was wondering what happened to your tablet! XD The writing does get very small at times! I do hear good things about the Live action One Piece. Unfortunately, I'm just not into the story. I know it's fantastic in its own right and that is fine, I did read up till Vol 25 or 26... that was enough for me. I just wanted to know why they had a reindeer as a crew member. Now I know. Yeah, that was Vice Commander Azan, with the Holy Iron Chain Knights. He is one of the first to fight Guts back in the day. Since the defeat of the HICK, he has banished himself in shame and is basically a good for nothing lay about now. I think the relationships between all of these characters is interesting. They do revolve around Guts in some fashion, but they are also independent of him. Farnese has her own relationship with Casca and with Schierke. This interaction doesn't need Guts at all. Yeah, right now Farnese is frustrated with Casca and the situation she constantly puts Guts through, but she is also the closest to her. She is so close to her that Casca wants to please her and is upset when she is upset. Schierke and Farnese is a relationship that I love. A teacher/pupil dynamic, but despite her age, Farnese is very respectful of Schierke and is benefitting from her as well. They both have grown in this partnership. We will never know what Guts was going to say to Chadrick. ;D But it may have been something like former commander or companion. He does tend to keep the past very close to his chest. Only a guess but others seem to see right through his vagueness. I mean, why would he risk his life over and over for a fellow soldier? Casca is his sword, his warmth and his love. He will do anything for her. When Guts tries to save her, he reaches with his metal arm, and she just slips right through his fingers. Trauma and loss have done this to both of them. It has broken them, and they will never be the same again. Some of these things were foreshadowed back in Golden Age when, again, Casca tried to end herself by jumping off a cliff. She was just tired of living with the burden of the Band of Hawk. She is strong, but not quite mentally as strong as Guts is. This is one reason why the Eclipse totally broke her mentally and to some extent it did that to Guts too. Really, they have not gotten over it. They just cope. Ah, the Sailing Prince of IIth! Rodrick is, well, he is just a bro! I think he really likes Guts and Guts kinda likes him too but of course, he is not a chummy guy. Rodrick does know what he is doing, and he is not too bad to look at too. Farnese could have done worse! Isidro also seems to do really well out on the ocean. He definitely has a flair for it. Those pirates were right!!
