Whoo hoo! Internet!! And 6 Chapters too! IRL, the Emperor of the Kushan was Kanishka. This Emperor is Ganishka, so Miura stayed really close to the history without being the same. I have no idea if the esthetic is the same. I have to think it was similar to what was illustrated while not being quite the same. I too love the inclusion of a different culture that is not European. It is a big world after all! Poor Charlotte! Yeah, she may be a ride or die for Griffith, but just look at the men who try to get with her. I don't blame her in the slightest. To me she is one of the saddest characters because no one loves her for who she is, they are just using her. I'm sure she knows on some level, but still. She did nothing to deserve the crap she goes through. And Anna is still best handmaiden. The fact that the apostles are not a monolith is an eye opener. So, we have a few factions now, the apostle Ganishka, the assassin Silat, and of course Guts who oppose Griffith. Ganishka has separate goals that are in opposition to Griffith, interesting to see what happens. Now, Silat is... kinda like Guts. He questions things around him, is a leader while being a mercenary of sorts, and he prides himself on his humanity. We see this because he is very disturbed to learn that the emperor is not human. I have to say that Silat is one of my favorite side characters. Really, I have a lot of faves! And of course, Guts.... But we already know where he stands right now, with Casca. That thing the Kushan made is absolutely disgusting. It acts as an artificial Behilit. Silat is right to be appalled when seeing it. I'm sure it is a flesh-colored horror! Borkoff, We hear the new Band say the name of an apostle. It looks like a frog-dog tank that is heavily plated with scales. So what is this Borkoff? It is the only apostle to actually take a limb and eat said limb for our guy Guts. yes, Borkoff ate Guts's arm. Its part of Borkoff now. Cool apostles I like: Irvine, the archer and Raksas the... whatever he is, spy. Those are my favorites. Ok, Manga series I'm reading. I meant to mention it last time but forgot. Nana is a shojo manga and I'm loving it. It's a romance that involves two women roommates who are best friends and their relationships with the men in their lives. It is sooooooo good!
