Some more action-packed chapters today!!! Yeah, usually we have a calm chapter after a crazy one, but not now!! Of course these bozos have to show up and fight Guts when he's wounded! He never catches a break!! As far as the crazy armor in Berserk, a lot of the designs were taken from real armor! Miura would use museum pieces and just draw them into the manga. A Spiral!! This is actually how the structure of the story is written. If you recall, Guts was once referred to as a demon child, his mom went crazy and died, and Gambino was always away on a campaign and well, an asshole. So what happens later when Guts is an adult, he has a demon child, his woman goes nuts and he abandons Casca and becomes an asshole. Now he does it differently and he is learning which is something that Gambino was never capable of doing. But there are parallels in every arc, we have had two eclipses, Farnese was also called a devil child, and her parents basically abandoned her, she too was a bit of an ass. So, look for those patterns and the story is actually pretty cool to try to analyze after you figure that out. Speaking of Farnese, she is getting a lot out of her relationships with the female members of this group. She is discovering herself in them. I often think about this, my stepmom, when I was in my early teens, gave me the advice that it is important for a woman to have female friends. I have strived to have that but alas I have very good acquaintances.... Of course, my best friend is my husband. Yes, it used to belong to Skull daddy. So why is he not in it anymore and what is his relationship with Flora?? More pieces to his lore. Also, remember that pain is your friend!!! All sorts of bad things can happen when you ignore pain. Like being un alived. So, the armor changed shape according to the inner darkness of the wearer.
