It's my favorite (as you know) and I tend to be very well read. Ok, my favorite Sci fi book is Dune. Speaking of that, on YouTube, the Tencent channel, they are airing a Chinese drama that is also one of my favorite sci fi stories, the Three Body Problem. I believe they just call it Three Body. They did a fantastic job so far!!! So, Netflix is also producing it with D and D, you know the ones who fucked up GOT!! So, I don't have high hopes for it, anyway, it's a Chinese drama and its fantastic! Supposed to be 30 episodes long. Also, Happy Lunar New Year!!!! Year of the Tu Zi, 兔子, rabbit!! My bunny Oliver Hasenpfeffer has a big year ahead of him!! There it is! The brand of sacrifice imprinted onto the refugees. They are all to be sacrificed in this festival! You can really see the horror on Gut's face. OH man, Full Metal Alchemist was so long ago for me, I barley remember the plot! I saw it before Brotherhood came out. Casca can fight but with this many people, she is just overwhelmed. I just can't imagine what it must be like to be so damaged. The tension really does build up here, she is so close yet so far away. Guts is just trying to get to her the best he can. I would go on, but I don't want to give anything away. Daddy Zodd vs Daddy Skull Knight round deux. :D This kind of reveals the structure of the story, it is a series of repeating circumstances, but they are never the same. They are always slightly different. I'm going to give you a clue in that Gut's own childhood is reflected in the way he and Casca live with their child being a literal devil child. (Guts was raised by an absent violent father and a crazy mother for the first 3 yrs of his life. He himself was called a child of the devil by Gambino many times) Although here, Gut's gives a damn. Gambino never did. The whole story is like this, once you know, you can see the pattern, its genius really. We do have that saying that history repeats itself, well, yes, it does. The egg of the perfect world eating the demon baby, this is one of the most misunderstood parts of the story. I believe, am very confident, I know what is going on and also there is a consensus for what is happening. One thing you have to keep in mind is that the baby, is just that, a baby. The other thing you have to keep in mind is that the Egg was always going to sacrifice the world and himself to bring about its own version of a perfect world. So that was always going to happen. Also, due to its encounter with Luca, it has grown some empathy for outcastes such as itself. That is why it shows some tenderness to the dying infant. People tend to forget all of these things and I will elaborate more on them later, but for now, all we know is that the Egg of the Perfect World has taken pity on the babe and eaten it. What will the consequences be? Also, when Guts jumps off of the palm of that hand, he and Casca see the egg with their child in it. How would you like to be its parents and see that shit! No thanks!!!! " If that little boy dies.... I'm a fucking cry!" Isidro really earned some clout points that day, didn't he!! He is goofy, but he is a good kid. Also, maybe a bit dense. Good on him for pulling Casca from the fire though!!! Farnese in the background being useless, me not saying anything........ Hands are tied. :D I know I've said before that she is my favorite character, you must think I'm nuts. Luca is by far better than Farnese is! Am I right?
