"I have a lot to think about" - Oh, you will have a full plate soon!! This is why this is my favorite arc in the series. It sets up stuff and introduces characters for later including philosophic ideas like Plato's theory of forms, shadow theory, and ideas from Thus Spoke Zarathustra by Nietzche. Really, those ideas are scattered all throughout the series. I need to do a re-read of both of those. I started JJK and dropped reading it. My reason was the "magic system" was soooo, I mean, they needed a power point diagram to explain it sometimes and that was off putting. If you don't get it intuitively, then it's too convoluted. Although Todo is the best. Glad you recommended Berserk to someone!! I've recommended it to my hairdresser. We talk a lot about crazy stuff. Anyway, I described it as a love story with lots of blood. Then I described the crazier things to judge if she would be receptive to it. She dug it so; I'll see if she ready any of it next time I see her. I hope she did. Ok, Mozgus is human. I just want to say that, yeah, he has a flat face, but he is human. Unfortunately. What was depicted in those panels was the "Egg" stinging Mozgus and all the torturers. The egg was making Pseudo Apostles or fake apostle. pseu·do [ˈso͞odō]. Mozgus gets stung, turns into a Pseudo Apostle and breathes fire! The fire burns away the blob that Casca and the baby were in. The baby is actually taking the brunt of the damage by deflecting the flames around its mom, becoming mortally wounded in the process. I love the little guy. Was Mozgus praying to the wrong god? You may be on to something there!! We will explore this idea later, its too soon. More lore is to come, but not now. I love SK and Luca. He is always going out of his way to save someone. "An egg with legs" Yup. :D Guts does have nice teeth. Of course, he has Puck so I'm sure that when they get busted, Puck throws some dust on them. Keeps em nice and healthy. But seriously, people back then had really good teeth! They didn't eat the crap we have now and very rarely had tooth issues. Now the rich people did!! They thought sugar was a medicine, so they did eat a lot of it for that reason and rotted their teeth out. So, the poors came out ahead on that one. I love the story Nothing tells. Of all the apostles, I have deep compassion for this one. We are going to see a few things, one is that we know to become an apostle, you need to sacrifice something. We are going to see what it looks like when the candidate doesn't have anything to sacrifice. Why did it tell Luca its story? Why indeed! What type of person is Luca to hear a monster's sob story?
