I hope you have a great vacation!! Well, I wrote this long thing, and I accidently deleted it. X ( So I will hit the highlights. The Bakiraka are a bit too cartoonish for my taste, but they are part of a larger people that I think are pretty cool. Side note: in our world there is a King Gaiseric of the Vandals, who may have inspired Skull Knight???? Also, I know this is coincidence but there was in real life person, Gotz Von Berlichingen of the iron hand. Hmmm sounds familiar. Now Miura swears that he didn't know that this guy existed, but Gotz was a knight and a mercenary. I believe he had lost his arm in battle and had a metal one fashioned for him and he continued to fight in battles! Miura has said that when he saw the Evil Dead movies, he had already designed Guts with his metal arm. He was afraid of being sued and he never was. He was relieved.
