Ok, Good songs to pair with Silat because he is awesome! https://youtu.be/BUbv_D9G1Kg Sim City by Susumu Hirasawa. https://youtu.be/ghSivyXhgvE Strange Night of the Omnificence by Susumu Hirasawa Yes, everything this man composes sounds like Berserk. The thing about the story of Berserk is there are very few plot holes. If anything, the first page of Berserk is maybe a plot hole? Balls deep in a woman that turns into an apostle. How did this happen? Why? Well, some say that Guts knew the whole time, and this is how he trapped her to slay the demon. Others say this and in addition, Guts is at his lowest mentally so, he just doesn't care. I tend to fall in the "It's a trap" camp. That is the apostle that did in Corkus and Guts was just doing his job in avenging a fellow Hawk. If you view it like that, it does away with that plot hole. Speaking of Plot Holes, there is actually a lost chapter that will most likely show up a bit later on ( chapt 85 I believe) So I do suggest reading it. Some say not to read it, some say to do so. It was taken out of the books, so it won't be in your book. Some consider it canon, some don't. So far, nothing in that chapter has been contradicted. I consider it canon until contradicted. I think the points you bring up about everyone always catering to Griffith and putting him on a pedestal are very true. I think that the one who did that the most was Casca herself. Guts wanted to break free of his influence and did so. But it was because he heard that speech and took it to heart. So, in a sense he hasn't broken away either. Remember, Guts did leave. So, he was warned, and he did leave, he just didn't know he would be sucked in again. I'd say it was causality. And what a cliff hanger! I just love the kissing panels. I believe that Guts had always wanted to kiss her but didn't. But now that Casca has poured out all her frustrations, her pressing herself up to him was just the last straw. Yeah, it's best to keep Casca away from cliffs... Just saying, when she sees one, over it she goes. I'd say she was just so spent mentally that she thought that was the only thing she could do, then Guts literally lifts her up from her darkness. I don't know if Griffith would have done that if he was able to.
