A mere Almond

Why do some people have a bunch of kids even though they don't have enough money to afford it? Poor, uneducated people in poor developing countries will have more kids. Educated, wealthier people in rich developed countries will have less kids. 1 part of it you got right. Because of poor education or stupid beliefs, they wont use contraception. So they get horny and end up with a kid each time. But another reason is just how nature and evolution works. In poor, uneducated and developing countries, kids have a much higher death rate. So a couple that decides to have less kids have a bigger chance of their bloodlines / genes dying out and not continuing. Like if they have only 1 kid, and that kid gets bit by a mosquito, gets malaria and dies, that is it. That couples genes don't spread and the blood line ends. But a couple that decides to have as many kids as possible will have a higher chance of some of the kids living and continuing the blood line and spreading the genes. So if they have like 6 kids, and 3 die of starvation and 1 dies of disease, they still end up with 2 kids that will grow up and have grandkids. In those places, couples that decide to have less kids stop existing. The only couples that are left are the ones that had a bunch of kids who end up having a bunch of grand kids. But yes, logically speaking, you are right. If you can't afford the kids, don't have them. You need to make sure your own life is set first. But nature doesn't care about what is logical or a happier life or a easier life. Nature only cares about how many grandkids you have.

A mere Almond

You were talking about this in another video. "Man takes up the sword in order to shield the small wound in his heart sustained in a far-off time beyond remembrance." You got this part right. People will work hard so that they wont suffer like they did in the past. You know like "I grew up poor and hungry so I am gonna study hard to become a rich doctor so I never will be hungry again". Or "a rich asshole was looking down on me and embarrassed me. I am gonna get rich and show that asshole who is boss". "Man wields the sword so that he may die smiling in some far-off time beyond perception" This part means that people will work hard so that far in the future they will achieve their goals and be happy. Basically this is insulting humans. To summarize it means this. "Humans are such simple creatures. Humans are so easy to predict and control with fate. They are always scared and thinking about what happened in the past. And then they are always dreaming about a better future. So if you want to predict a humans life, you just have to figure out what things in their past hurt them. Then you can figure out what they will do for the rest of their lives. Its basically saying that humans are just following their fate. They have no free will. They just worry about what happened in the past and work to get a better future. Sooo predictable!.
