I'll be deleting all of my posts here on patreon BUT i'm not dying. Switching business models here on how I want to work things. For details read below

I'm planning to start putting my stuff on Gumroad and making art packs as well as comic packs. I'll still be using patreon like normal and posting content here but after one week I'll be deleting the post as well as switching over to discount codes and stuff for higher tiers. Still ironing out the kinks for this change so i'll keep everyone updated.

As for why I'm doing this, it's mostly due to like every artist I ever talk to telling me NOT to trust this site... and ngl I'd like to keep my finances safe.

TLdr: End of may, deleting all my posts and having limited run posts on here while also using Gumroad to move everything to afterword's.

Note: just to be clear, I’m also doing this so I don’t have to rely on commissions anymore. They’re  not the most Reliable option for income for me and I gotta change it up if I wanna survive

Sorry to hear that, though it's understandable. Might I ask you consider the idea of deleting posts over a certain age, say, over a month old, instead of weekly instead, just because myself and I'm sure others don't always check the posts daily (or occasionally even weekly if it's super busy/we're away/etc.)? Just a thought - obviously, you've got to do what's best for you, but I subscribe to a few artists that do the "things over a month old are purged" thing and it seems to work well - I always remember to check before the end of the month that way.

Okay so in short, your still gonna use the account here but your post will only be available for a week and you’ll be deleting them. Tbh I don’t really see a point in deleting the post in a week. If your gonna use gumroad for like art and comic packs then why not just do that? Just have your stuff posted individually on Patreon but have all the pack stuff on gumroad and charge people for the packs if they want them. Like for example; have the packs of new comics and artwork on gumroad ahead of time and charge people whatever price you feel that is acceptable who use gumroad then post them on Patreon later, but maybe not all at once. Maybe daily or in two or three days. So it makes it so both your accounts are active. The people use gumroad get the content first and those who use Patreon get it later.

hmm not against this. Was also thinking about sending out discount codes to certain patreon tiers so they have instant access to all the gumroad content, as they're released.
