From a sketch: Newt has been caught (Patreon)

And here it is, the first pin-up from "the sketches", another format I introduced last year and repeated because I love it. Simply, I made six sketches of six characters of my choice (that's in part the reason I love this format) and then I go on turning them into illustrations, trying to do the work as clean and quickly as possibile. The first one of this edition is Newt. You know, the volume printed by Shockdom with the first two chapters of the story should arrive in the next weeks (it's already late, they have had problems of any sort making this volume, I'm sorry for the wait). This should help remembering Newt.


Ed eccola qui, la prima pin-up degli "sketch", un altro formato che ho iniziato l'anno scorso e che ho ripreso più volte perché mi è piaciuto. Semplicemente faccio sei sketch veloci di altrettanti personaggi a mia scelta (e questo è in parte il motivo per cui adoro questo formato), quindi li trasformo man mano in altrettante illustrazioni finite, cercando di non perderci il tempo che ci perderei se fossero illustrazioni esclusive knight, diciamo che mi riprometto di realizzarle in un paio di orette. Che vuol dire fare veloce, casomai non foste avvezzi ai tempi di realizzazione di una illustrazione digitale. 

La prima protagonista di questa nuova tornata di sketch è Newt, e questo perché sta per uscire il volume cartaceo di Newt & Bobo per Shockdom, che raccoglierà i primi due capitoli rivisti e corretti (che comunque i miei Knight qui su patreon hanno già letto in formato PDF ma si sa che la carta è più meglissimo ancora). Il volume dovrebbe essere pre-ordinabile fra qualche settimana. Nel frattempo ci tenevo a non farvi dimenticare questo fumetto, e meno che mai Newt.
