Samus Aran, from the Metroid saga (Patreon)

She wasn't in the list, but someone named her on Facebook and then Claudio asked for her in a comment under the last fan-art. So, the submission was effective and Samus rose up to the top of the list. Why? But of course because I'm a huge fan of Metroid, too! I played the first one on my NES, then Super-Metroid on the SNES and then Metroid 2 - return of Samus on the old LCD gameboy. I've played Metroid Prime too, on Gamecube, but never bought the two sequel (Prime 2 and Prime 3), mostly because of the hard-level gameplay. In fact, I've burned my soul in finishing Metroid Prime, and when my friends told me the sequel was actually even more difficult, I decided not to try it. But I really enjoyed the remake of Metroid 2 recently published for 3DS: one of the best Metroid ever played and I've run to the end of it in 8 ours. Now we're all waiting for Prime 4, announced for Nintendo Switch. See? I could not resist to make a fan-art of Samus Aran.

Lei non era in lista, ma qualcuno l'aveva nominata in un post su Facebook, quindi Claudio l'ha proposta sotto la scorsa fan-art e così... la proposta è divenuta EFFETTIVA! A quel punto, Samus ha scalato la cima della lista ed è divenuta la sesta e ultima fan-art di questa sfida. Perché? Perché ovviamente sono un mega-fan della saga di Metroid! Ho giocato il primo Metroid su NES, Super Metroid su SNES, quindi Metroid 2 - Il ritorno di Samus sul vecchio gameboy a cristalli liquidi, e poi Metroid Prime su Gamecube. Non ho mai giocato i due sequel di quest'ultimo perché mi hanno detto tutti che erano molto tosti, e siccome per finire Metroid Prime avevo già sputato sangue, ho deciso di non provarci nemmeno. Ma mi sono entusiasmato tantissimo giocando il remake di Metroid 2 per 3DS, invece! Stupendo! Uno dei migliori Metroid che ho giocato, me lo sono bevuto in 8h (non di seguito eh... per dire che non è lungo ed è bellissimo). Vedete? Samus meritava un tributo.
